Junior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a Junior Specialist in our Partner’s Global IT Team.

Junior Cloud Engineer

You will be responsible for delivering stable and highly available Cloud infrastructure and minimum required On Premise infrastructure services supporting running business, managing and solve all incidents and problems. You will provide stable and scalable core infrastructure solutions for new business requirements and projects. You will participate and support the standardisation, consolidation, and optimisation of Cloud related IT services on European level aligned with global infrastructure strategy and guidelines defined by Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE).

What you will do:

• Work very closely with CCoE team to support Cloud services and taking over operational tasks of it,
• Work with the Developers, Network and DBA specialists and Cloud architects to deliver the IT infrastructure services with agreed goals and roadmap which support the overall infrastructure and cloud strategy,
• Suggest any technologies or solution ideas in the Cloud Platform Engineer team that could enable business for growth, improve productivity, reduce costs and support business change priorities to architect team,
• Deliver infrastructure environment to support business needs and new projects,
• Responsible for ITIL processes and Agile methodologies delivery in relevant Infrastructure domain.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Infrastructure,
• Cloud Practitioner certificate in Amazon Web Services or higher,
• Good understanding and proven experience on AWS technology,
• Good understanding of IT technology standards,
• Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure and security solutions,
• Good understanding of IT Infrastructure (server/storage/network),
• General understanding of ITIL.

Advantage:

• AWS Sysops Associate or Professional certificate is an advantage!
• Knowledge of ITIL “Service Foundation” level,
• Participating in the implementation of IT Infrastructure services,
• Working experience in IT projects and working together with project teams in international environment.
